We’re Working for Our Community

Over thirty years ago, we chose our company name (RELYCO) based on our mission to be “the company you can rely on.” That goal carries through to all aspects of the business, from how our paper experts interact with our customers to our commitment to regularly giving back to our New Hampshire Seacoast community.

Charitable giving is a key tenet of our company and it all began with Mike Steinberg, our Founder, and his core values:

“Growing up, I had a lot of people who took that extra step or went outside of the box for me. It made me the person I am today. Through those experiences, I learned that it is better to give than receive. I’m proud that as a company, we’ve had the opportunity to give back to our community. That’s what we should be doing, always.”

A focus on giving back is prevalent throughout the company. Beginning in 2004, a group of RELYCO employees formed their own Community Service Team, which officially represents the company as a whole. RELYCO has a charitable payroll deduction system that any employee can choose to opt into (at any amount) and RELYCO matches the total funds each year. The RELYCO Community Service Team then identifies groups or organizations that are in need of support and allocates the funds to these different initiatives each year. The Team also organizes and leads our annual holiday gift-giving program for local kids whose families need some extra help around the holidays.

In addition to the work the Community Service Team does, RELYCO participates in many local fundraisers, donates to Dover High School’s Project Graduation, sponsors several local sports teams and incorporates a charity program at our largest annual trade show. At RELYCO, we believe that we can make a difference. Here are just a few of the organizations we work with (below).
