The role of Customer Service Representative is to create detailed and accurate requests for quote, negotiate terms for RELYCO and provide pricing feedback in a timely manner.This position calls for a detail-oriented, highly motivated professional with excellent communication skills. This role requires the ability to maintain strong relationships externally and internally, effectively communicating with our vendors, customers and within all RELYCO departments while sustaining a sense of urgency. This position will report directly to the Director of Customer Success. Responsibilities:Maintain a high level of technical product knowledgeReview new business opportunities in pre-production meetingsCreate and analyze specifications to make informed quoting decisionsCreate RFQ’s, item numbers and item descriptions to send to the appropriate vendorsFollow up, review and confirm pricing received from vendors to ensure requirements are metNegotiate with vendors for the best pricing and deliveryAnswer questions or concerns from vendors during the RFQ processCompare vendor proposals and provide summary feedback to SalesAssist customers ordering through the eCommerce store via calls and live chatManage vendor stock and custom order processingTrack order progress and provide order status updates to customers and sales until order is delivered in acceptable conditionUpdate orders and job folders to ensure accuracy of the item description, cost, additional charges and information that Accounting will need to invoice accurately and in a timely mannerCreate shipping documentation and schedule pick-up requests for ordersCreate Action Items for customer quality concernsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, one to two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritizeExcellent written and verbal communications skillsStrong sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentExperience with CRM software, preferably SalesforceStrong attention to detail and accuracyCreative, flexible and innovative team playerExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsDoes this sound like you?
